Fire on Water will incorporate the First Nations Shared Fire Project and The Shared Fire Community Story Project in a narrative that weaves fire, light, theatre, community choirs, dance and orchestra in the heart of the Scenic Rim.

The event will be held on dusk and conclude in time for attendees to return to their homes or if broadcast rights are viable as part of sponsorship/funding to any of the three outdoor screens to see the Finals of the Games.

It is envisaged that a key part of the event will be sculptural fires and fire installations on floating barges on the water and a welcome ceremony from the Indigenous community.
